I went on the journey with my father, and I must say that we were both really delighted with the experience. The riders were quite skilled and attentive, which is something you appreciate in Hanoi's traffic jungle. The tour guide was very nice and enjoyable to listen to. Her English was excellent, and she answered all of our queries. I would highly suggest this experience to anybody visiting Hanoi for only one or two days since you will learn about the city's basics on this trip. Plus, the guide's excellent explanations make it a tour where you may learn a lot about Vietnamese culture.
My wife and I went on an afternoon excursion on April 1, 2024. I can honestly say that was one of the most interesting, enjoyable, and efficient trips I've ever on. We got to see a lot of the city in a short period of time. The team had a great time and organized an amazing trip. Special thanks to my driver Nghia, who expertly navigated the Hanoi streets and provided interesting historical information about the city. I would recommend doing this trip instead than the hop on, hop off bus. Don't worry about riding a moped in congested traffic; the drivers are excellent, and I felt extremely safe during the journey.
This is a great way to explore and experience Hanoi in one evening. Although it may be intimidating at first, you will quickly become accustomed to Hanoi traffic and will have the opportunity to sample some delicious cuisine at numerous eateries across the city. The drivers are incredibly experienced and entertaining; certainly on the must-do list in Hanoi!!
The Hanoi at Night tour was a highlight of our visit. It was great fun riding around the city on a motorcycle...so much easier than walking on congested sidewalks! Linh, our guide, was wonderful, entertaining, and easy to communicate with. The drivers were also very friendly. After a lovely meal and drink, we ended up at a jazz club with incredible young vocalists. What a fantastic time out; strongly recommend.
We scheduled a Motogo City tour because we were only going to be in Hanoi for a short time. Our guide Chi was really funny and knowledgeable about the city. Our drivers were fantastic, even though they could not speak English. They took good care of us, and we felt quite secure riding on the backs of the bikes. What a fantastic city! This tour was enjoyable and safe, and we heartily endorse them.
We did the Hanoi History Journey tour in the morning, our guide Chi was friendly, great English and passionate about her job, city and country. Before the tour we had some apprehension about whizzing around in the seemingly uncontrolled chaos of Hanoi traffic on the back of a scooter. Our drivers were great and we both felt completely safe and at ease the whole time. In and out of traffic, small streets and lanes. Do yourself a favor and enjoy a tour on the back of a part of Vietnam recent history, learning about its ancient past.
The Motogo motorbike tour was a highlight of my visit to Hanoi! Typically very cautious, I was quite proud of myself for trusting 'G' to drive me through the crazy streets of Hanoi on the back of the Vespa, and WOW!, what a way to experience the city!!! He and my guide, Peter, took great care to introduce me to a sampling of Hanoi's culinary and cultural highlights. Peter was very warm, engaging, and knowledgeable, and the duo took great care to make the experience memorable. I was ready to rebook the following day, but alas it was time to return home. I would definitely recommend the Motorbike excursion to anyone considering it.
